Terms of use

1. The service

IsCarTi lets you keep vehicle records, share them, have workshops confirm them, create quotes and invoices, and buy and sell vehicles and parts through a listing board. It is run by [to be added before launch]. By using it you agree to these terms.

2. Records are not guarantees

Records marked "Owner-added" are supplied by users and are not verified. "Document checked" means automatic checks found no obvious problems; it does not prove a document is genuine. "Workshop-confirmed" means a workshop account confirmed the record; we check workshops before marking them registered but do not guarantee their work or honesty. The trust score is a simple indicator, not a valuation, inspection or warranty. Always inspect a vehicle yourself.

3. Your content

You own what you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it is not fraudulent. You must not upload forged documents, falsify odometer readings, or confirm work you did not do. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Marketplace

We only provide a place to advertise. We are not a party to any sale, we do not hold money, and we do not verify sellers or buyers. Deal safely: view the vehicle in person, check ownership and finance status, and do not pay a deposit before you have seen it. Listings must be honest, lawful and not misleading. You can report a listing and we may remove it.

5. Workshops

Workshops must only confirm work they performed and must give accurate business details. False confirmations can lead to removal from the service. Quotes and invoices you create are your own documents; you are responsible for their accuracy, tax treatment and VAT compliance.

6. Plans and payment

Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Prices are in South African rand and may change with notice; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions taken through PayFast. Each month's payment renews the plan until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time on your billing page; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Featured listings are a once-off payment and run for the period stated. If a payment fails, your plan returns to Free when the paid period ends. Refunds are given where the law requires them and otherwise at our discretion.

7. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the service running but provide it as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses from a sale, purchase or repair arranged through the service. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be limited.

8. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.
